- Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (ASRHR)
- Family Planning services and information.
Climate Change & Environmental Sustainability
As a designated UNFCCC contact point and an accredited observer to the Green Climate Fund, we ensure Sierra Leonean youth are part of the global climate conversation. Our work includes:
- Advocating for the implementation of national adaptation plans.
- Building climate-resilient communities through local awareness and action.
- Mobilizing youth for environmental sustainability.
- Budilging women’s entrepreneural capacities for environmentally sound cooking cooking methods through bricket production.
Education, Child Protection & Participation
We believe every child deserves a safe and quality education. Our integrated approach includes:
- Child Protection: Safeguarding children from harm by addressing root causes like harmful cultural practices and weak policy enforcement.
- Education: Enhancing both formal and non-formal learning opportunities.
- Helping THEM for a Lifetime: Equipping caregivers, especially mothers, with entrepreneurship skills to support their children’s education and family well-being.
- Inclusive Participation: Removing barriers to participatory governance and informed decision-making where young people are not only seen but heard as respected partners in development.
Governance, Peace & Inclusive Participation
In a post-civil war nation, building a stable and accountable society is paramount. We focus on:
- Youth in Governance: Enhancing the capacity of youth networks to influence local and national decision-making.
- Peacebuilding & Conflict Prevention: Identifying conflict drivers and engaging youth as leaders in peace processes.
- Enterprise Development: Promoting sustainable livelihoods and youth entrepreneurship to reduce poverty and bridge social divides, including for young people with disabilities.
