Mohamed is a founding partner of Empowerment Consultancy.
He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in English and Sociology,(2002) Diploma in Adult Education (Dip. Ad. Ed.)(2003) and his Master's degreein Adult Education (M.Ed),(2005) from Fourah Bay College, University
of Sierra Leone.

He also holds a Diploma in Human Rights, Peace and Security from the Institute of Public Management (IPM), Uppsala, Sweden (2008)


Mohamed I.B. Turay
(PROJECT MANAGER)

Mr. Turay previously worked as a teacher in various secondary schoolsacross Sierra Leone and recently gained appointment with Fourah Bay College to lecture Research Methods and Remedial English in the Division of Extra-Mural Studies. He also served as lead Country Researcher on human rights and national security issues for the SIDA supported International Training Programme held in Siem Reap, Cambodia (December, 2008)

He primarily takes on projects relating to training and evaluation within the field of Education, Human Rights, Peace and Security, but he also significantly strengthens the organization’s experience and capacity in youth and gender sensitive programming.

Mohamed Sidique Dabo is very courageous and hard-working youth advocate and young University leaders of the youth volunteer program in Sierra Leone.

Since joining the program in 1997, Mohamed has been able to sharehis knowledge and skills in information technology with young victims ofwar in Sierra Leone, as was amply demonstrated in a series of successful summer school and leadership programs. Hundreds of schools going children as well as at-risk and young war-victims were opportune to learn life skills that have forever transformed their lives.


Mr. Mohamed Sidique Dabo
Communications Officer

Mohamed Sidique Dabo is the Communications Officer at the Youth Partnership for Peace and Development Organization (YPPD). His efforts with youths have proven fruitful in the enhancement of their skills building. As a youth advocate, he has also worked in partnership with several colleagues bringing youths together to discuss issues of global importance. He has a wealth of experience in youth issues and has worked with many youth groups especially the National Youth Award Scheme in Bo
District as a silver holder.

Mohamed is a graduate with a Bachelor of Arts, Honours, Political Science from Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone and a diploma holder in African/Cultural Studies from the same university. And also attended as Minister on the occasion of the conferment of an honorary degree of Doctorate to the former British Prime Minister – Tony Blair, for the latter’s role in the Sierra Leone crisis.

Mohamed has worked with many youth organizations such as iEARN Sierra Leone (non-profit)www.iearnsierraleone.org in the country and within the sub-region as Regional Coordinator. Whilst at iEARN Sierra Leone he devoted himself in working with students, school drop outs, ex-child combatants and victims of war to participate fully in his leadership and information technology training programs as young leaders that will serve as role models in their communities in helping other young people. Presently, he is the President of the Youth Advisory Panel on Sexual Reproductive health in Sierra Leone.


I am Fredica Veronica Momoh a Sierra Leonean Journalist born in Freetown the capital city of Sierra Leone and I'm presently working for the states media Sierra Leone Broadcasting Service (SLBS) in Freetown. Having worked in the journalism field over the years, I have work for various institutions in Sierra Leone. I have worked for the United Nations Radio (Voice of Children's Project). Till UNAMSIL left Sierra Leone to Liberia and I joined the Sierra Leone Broadcasting Service in which I am presently attached to the News and Current Affairs Department as a Reporter and News Reader for both the radio and televisions respectively.

Most of the contributions I made are adapt at issues relating to development and women's right, as the organizing secretary for Women in the Media Sierra Leone (WIMSAL) one of the most vibrant female advocacy groups in my country, A J2J fellow a member of the National Press Foundation and International Aids Society I posses considerable wealth of experience in broadcasting, reporting and women's advocacy issues, and I owned a diploma in mass communication among others.
In the Advocacy field, I have work for and with various organizations in my country and among them is the Youth Partnership for Peace and development which is a vibrant organization advocating for the better conditions for young people in the country.
My hobbies include reading advocating for human right, web browsing and listening daily news.
