ADVOCATING FOR ADOLESCENTS HEALTH AND WELL-BEING.
In partnership with the PMNCH, the Youth Partnership for Peace and Development (YPPD) through funding from the Partnership for Maternal, Newborn and Child Health (PMNCH) implemented the adolescents-centered project on mobilizing young people’s engagement for the 1.8 billion Campaign and the Global Forum for Adolescents in October 2023. The project galvanized relevant policymakers from an array of sectors, youth-led organizations, adolescents, and non-governmental organizations in Sierra Leone to amplify adolescent voices and advocate for their well-being. Implementing the project, we reached over 100,000 young people in addition to the 10 partner organizations that YPPD collaborated with.
